CONGRATULATIONS TO ANTONIO ROSE OF LILAC FARMS FOR WINNING THE VERY PRESTIGIOUS BCHP ASELYN’S AWARDS FOR HIS AMAZING VERSATILITY AND RIDEABILITY! The Buck’s County Horse Park in Pennsylvania hosts many shows in many venues: Eventing schooling and USEA rated shows, Dressage schooling and USDF rated shows, Hunters, Jumpers, Driving, Western, Polocrosse and Polo as well as Pony Club Rallies, Hunter Paces and Judged Trail Rides. At the year end awards banquet they sometimes give out the ASELYN’S AWARD presented by Kat and Jacqui Richie, the Park Manager, in honor of a very multi-taleneted Thoroughbred they once had the honor of showing. To receive this award the horse must be competing well in multiple disciplines with good manners and rideability.

There are several hundred horses of many breeds that compete all year long at the Bucks County Horse Park in Revere, PA and this year’s recipient of the ASELYN”S AWARD was Antonio Rose of Lilac Farms – 8 yr old Haflinger gelding, owned and ridden by Katelyn Bergey. This super versatile gelding is out of the AHR Elite Mare, R-Noble Rose APF and by Alois, breeder Mary Procopio of New Horizons Haflingers. “Tony” as he is known around the farm, competed a tough season with year end standings in Jumpers, Children’s Equitation, Dressage, Eventing and Model Hunter. This award was a wonderful surprise to Katelyn, her trainer Jennie Deephouse and the Dreamfield Manor Farm team.
